Hey everyone, in this video — filmed during one of my practice sessions — I’m playing an aria from François Le Cocq’s 1730 guitar collection “Recueil des Pièces de Guitarre.”
It’s part of a new project I’m currently working on, focused on French music from the early eighteenth century. Though simple in form and melody, this music is richly decorated with ornaments that give it a distinctly Baroque character.
