The Court of Appeal (CoA) has ordered former Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Musa Hassan, to pay RM250,000 in damages to Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh for defamation.
His defamatory remarks were made in a forum at a university six years ago.
Judge Datuk Azimah Omar who is now the Federal Court judge, who led a three-person bench, unanimously reversed the Kuala Lumpur High Court judicial commissioner's decision, which last year dismissed Yeoh's defamation suit against Musa.
