Описание: Jordan Brown, a freshman guard at Francis Parker School in California, scored a game-high 27 points for the top-seeded Lancers in a 73-47 girls basketball victory against No. 4 Mission Hills High of California in the semifinals of the CIF-San Diego Section Open Division playoffs at the Vassiliadis Athletic Center. Brown helped Francis Parker advance to the Open Division final for the second year in a row and reach its third consecutive section championship game overall, after winning the Division 2 title in 2024. The Lancers gained a measure of revenge against Mission Hills following a 60-51 loss in the Open Division final last year, as well as a 65-61 home setback against the Grizzlies last season. The Grizzlies were looking to reach a ninth Open championship game and earn a potential record sixth Open crown, but were unable to maintain a three-point lead following the first quarter. Francis Parker will compete Feb. 28 against No. 6 Westview in the Open Division final at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, looking to win the first Open crown in program history.
