This is the complete repair process of one of my Atari Asteroids Arcade PCBs.
Faults fixed:
1) X deflection missing due to bad AD561 IC
2) The previous "repair" person attempted to permanently kill the board with the help of a soldering iron (cut trace under a replaced IC, caused a fault in the vector generator state machine).
3) Rev -02 board had a mistake in the "thump" sound generator.
