First and foremost, thank you. Thank you to everyone who followed along, everyone who stopped by the Mobile Coop to say hi, and everyone who continues to support us in every way. This community is truly what makes King of the Hammers so special.

As we head into the final days on the lakebed, it’s all hands on deck getting ready for race day. We finally get a chance to break out the Miller Welders to help a friend with a quick lakebed fix—because if there’s one thing that always happens out here, it’s someone needing a little help.

Friday is all about Tech & Contingency. We get to see so many great people, catch up with friends, and Jess finally gets her coveted tacos from Bufadora 🌮 (a KOH must). We also begin breaking down parts of the Mobile Coop, have a team meeting, enjoy lasagna together, and call it an early night to rest up for race day.

Saturday morning starts early. Breakfast with the team, and the car is in line by 6:00 AM. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing group of people who help us out on the lakebed—huge shoutout to @trailmateroffroadrecovery for coming out to run Pit 2. We truly couldn’t do this without the support of our friends and racing family.

Unfortunately, as you saw in our opening race video, race day didn’t go as planned. We hoped for a very different outcome, but… that’s racing. We’ll learn from it, regroup, and come back stronger.
