James Watson Double Helix Day 2016

Описание: Double Helix Day coincides with the actual date that James Watson and Francis Crick discovered the double helix structure of deoxyribonucleic acid (February 28th 1953) in Cambridge, England. Each year, a theme related to DNA science is explored through a series of 35’ talks aimed at a broad scientific audience. The theme of how cells repair damaged DNA and how mutations arise has been selected as the theme this year.
