What does this pan have to do with our dream of flying? The answer is SAF - Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
With sustainable aviation fuel, we can significantly reduce the CO₂ emissions of our aircraft over the entire value chain. It all starts with renewable raw materials such as vegetable oil or animal fats.
After being used in our pan, the bio-oils are being collected. They are then cleaned, pre-treated and taken to the refinery. There, the oil is processed with hydrogen and oxygen is removed in an innovative process.
