Adobe Premiere Elements and Premiere CC (Pro) will let you fade out audio at the end of a clip so you can match it with a video fade rather than just cutting off the sound at the end. There is more than one way to do this depending on the version of Premiere you are using. You can apply this to a secondary audio clip or to the audio part of your main clip. The Premiere Pro part starts at 2:15.
