Today we'll look at part of what goes on in maintaining an F-4 Phantom. We pulled the last set of filters out for either a clean and inspect or replacement. This will start the next phase of servicing which will be inspection and lubrication.
We'll also look at some corrective maintenance on the start cart, because without it, this amazing aircraft would be unable to start up. It may not seem like there would not be much difference in air output at 95% speed versus 100% speed, but it gained 4 lbs of pressure and even more airflow. Also, of importance is having the generator operating at the correct speed.
