Even with great lighting, underhood lights are extremely helpful when working on vehicles. One of my personal complaints about all of them is storage. They are very long and bulky and hard to lock up. The new DEWALT DCL045 is foldable and can easily be stowed in a large toolbox drawer or in the back of a vehicle.
The DEWALT DCL045B produces 1,700 lumens on high and 800 lumens on low with either a 12-Volt or 20-Volt battery. You will notice a decrease in runtime when using a 12-volt battery.
The anti-marring, padded hooks rotate 360° and stretch between 51and 74 inches.
