First and def not the last time making Venison Karahi. Here’s how I did it:- salt bite-sized venison stew cubes- brown thinly sliced onions in oil
grind ginger , garlic, cumin , cardamom, and peppercorn in mortar- add to oil once onion is brown
add diced tomatoes
add turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder
add meat
add black pepper + garam masala + bay leaf- cover pot and let simmer for 10min
add a few spoons of yogurt
simmer for 5min, add water if mix is too dry
leave on med-low for 30min
add cilantro , serve with rice
