The Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) held a strategic engagement with Local Government (LG) and Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairmen to strengthen the implementation of the Executive Order mandating enrollment in the ILERA EKO Health Insurance Scheme.
The meeting provided an opportunity to sensitize the Chairmen on the importance of the Executive Order, the progress made so far, and the critical role local governments play in driving grassroots awareness and increasing enrollment across communities in Lagos State.
Through collaboration with LG and LCDA leadership, LASHMA aims to accelerate the adoption of ILERA EKO, ensuring that more residents have access to affordable, quality healthcare services through the Lagos State Social Health Insurance Scheme.
This engagement is part of the State Government’s commitment to achieving Universal Health Coverage and ensuring no resident is left behind when it comes to healthcare access.
