Описание: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham proudly hosted its 28th Convocation Ceremony at the Coimbatore campus, marking a milestone in the academic journeys of its graduating students. The event began with a traditional academic procession, lighting of the lamp, and a heartfelt video message from our Chancellor, Sadguru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma), inspiring the students to embrace a life of compassion and service.

The convocation was graced by distinguished dignitaries. Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Minister of State Ministry of Law and Justice (Independent Charge) and Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India, served as the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation Address. Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.R. Shriram, Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, joined as Guest of Honour and delivered the Keynote Address. Sampujya Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri, Treasurer and Trustee of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math and Member of the Executive Council of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, offered the Benedictory Address, administered the oath to the graduates, and presented mementos to the dignitaries.

The university leadership also addressed the gathering. Dr. P. Venkat Rangan, Vice-Chancellor, presented the Annual Report of the University and admitted the graduands, Dr. P. Ajith Kumar, Registrar, delivered the Welcome Address and presented the graduands. The convocation concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Air Cmde Satish Menon, Campus Director, Coimbatore.
Degrees were conferred across a wide range of disciplines, with outstanding students honoured with the prestigious Amriteshwari Medal, University Medals, and Ph.D. awards. A special compendium, “Graduation Day 2025: Glimpses of Joy, Pride & Inspiration”, was released by Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, capturing the memories, achievements, and spirit of the day.
The ceremony closed with the graduates taking the Snātaka Anuśāsanam oath, pledging to carry forward the values of knowledge, integrity, and compassion instilled by Amrita.
