A battered up metal tray I found on the side of the road is played with a modified tone arm consisting of two metal prongs from a head massager, small metal chain, spring and craft knife blade. On the video I briefly experiment with the tone arm position, turntable speed and pressure being applied. This set-up is running through a Boss DS-1, Danelectro Wasabi Distortion and EQ pedal.
Great for harsh junk/trash noise experiments!
