The day before we flew to Kauai, Jack calls me and asks if I'm free and down to film.... The goal? To foil the legendary Na Pali Coast, known for its unparalleled beauty and challenging conditions.

The Na Pali Coast on Kauai, Hawai'i is arguably the most beautiful place in the world. But to add in the magic sensation of foiling and to downwind foil it is another level. Its dramatic landscape, featuring towering peaks, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife, makes it a paradise for tourists, but why not foiling enthusiasts too!?

With our gear ready, we set off from Oahu. The conditions are intense, with 20-30 mph winds and 4-6 ft. waves, making the challenge even more exhilarating. This made for launching and landing the drone nearly impossible. On top of that, my camera gear was getting hit by waves and rain constantly. But the stunning views and the thrill of the ride make every moment worth it.

As we foil along the Na Pali Coast, we're greeted by majestic cliffs and pristine waters. The feeling of gliding over the waves, powered by the wind, is unmatched. This is what downwind foiling is all about - the perfect blend of adventure and nature.

Filming in these conditions is no easy feat. The high winds and big waves add an extra layer of difficulty, but capturing the essence of this journey is essential. We want to share the raw beauty and excitement of downwind foiling the Na Pali Coast with you. Jack made a longer edit on his page, but the footage was too epic not to make y own version which is an action packed, fast paced foil film you see above!

After an incredible journey, we reach the end of our downwind foiling adventure. The sense of accomplishment a we've created will last a lifetime. The Na Pali Coast has truly lived up to its reputation as a foiler's paradise.
