There are SOOOO many cameras to choose from for filmmaking, but with all the features packed into the new Sony a7iii, it may just be the best DSLR for filmmaking in 2018 as well as the best DSLR for videography in 2018 so far. This video shows a Sony a7iii vs a7Sii comparison with Sony a7iii video features that the camera improves on from the a7Sii as well as features that the a7iii has that may make you want to switch over from Canon or another manufacturer. Some of the features covered are, larger batteries for improved battery life, dual memory card slots to back up footage, addition of USB-C port to hook straight up to MacBooks, a touchscreen that is great for focusing, APS-C mode while using 4K, 120 frames per second with no sensor cropping, improved placement of the record button, custom menu section for ease of use, focus peaking, and a 5-axis stabilized image sensor.
