VERSION 1.0 of THE RESISTANCE CUT is almost here! Keep an eye out for the full release!
Finn's re-introduction being played for a (really) cheap gag is one of my least favorite parts of the movie, especially considering there was a far superior scene that was cut in favor of it.
The slapstick comedy has been almost completely removed and replaced with this deleted scene. This also helps to better flesh out the situation between The Resistance and the First Order, including a much-needed reference to the destruction of Starkiller Base, something that was completely forgotten in the original cut.
In the scene in which Snoke's flagship arrives, I've cut numerous small lines of dialogue to help the scene flow better, as well as take out any reference to Leia's reprimanding and demotion of Poe, as in this cut he is a hero who saved the resistance from certain death by the dreadnought.
