As cannabis product testing becomes crucial, especially for toxic elements like Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury, and Lead, the demand for efficient methods is paramount. While ICP-MS is widely used, its complexity and high cost make ICP-OES an appealing alternative. Achieving trace-level detection with ICP-OES, maintaining productivity, and ensuring high throughput all present challenges. Our solution involves optimized microwave digestion followed by a high-efficiency sample introduction system, utilizing a high-efficiency nebulizer and cyclonic spray chamber. Matrix matching of calibration standards and innovative analytical approaches enhance accuracy. Results demonstrate the capability of our methodology for precise analysis of cannabis samples at or below the strictest detection limits.
