About Video:-
Ohm's law says that when current flows through a conductor, that current will be directly proportional to the voltage but the temperature of the conductor should be constant.
But in practicality, resistance increases the temperature of the wire due to which as the voltage increases, the current decreases, hence to reduce the resistance we use copper wire.
Power is always fixed, we can only increase or decrease the voltage and current. If we want to increase the power, we will have to make mechanical changes in the generator.
The generator generates real power, which can also be called apparent power and this real power consists of active power and reactive power.
All resistive loads work on unity power factor, so they consume only active power.
But inductive loads also consume some reactive power, so power factor is a terminology that balances reactive power.
When the compensation of reactive power increases then to balance it a capacitor is added which balances the reactive power.
But in long transmission lines, capacitive interference is more, so shunt reactors are installed there to balance the capacitive interference.
Basics of electrical engineering has been covered in this video with the help of 3d animation.
