After uncovering the terrible prophecy of the Xel’Naga, Zeratul continues his desperate investigation into Amon’s growing influence. In “Harbinger of Oblivion,” he leads a strike against a hidden Hybrid laboratory where Amon’s twisted experiments are being conducted on both Protoss and Zerg.

This mission highlights the true horror of the Hybrid, as players face creatures that combine the strengths of both races under Amon’s will. Zeratul and his forces must fight through heavily fortified facilities, using Dark Templar stealth tactics alongside Protoss firepower to destroy the Hybrid breeding grounds before the experiments can be unleashed on the galaxy.

Cinematics reveal both the courage of the Protoss and the despair of realizing just how deep Amon’s corruption runs. Zeratul’s warnings grow more dire, setting the stage for the ultimate confrontation. This is one of the most lore-heavy missions in Legacy of the Void, tying back to the Hybrid first seen in Brood War and Wings of Liberty.
