I'm glad to be back to you all after a couple of months of inactivity, which I am so sorry for.
This video above shows the history of the Papal states, which eventually evolved into modern Vatican, from year 754 until today (January 30th).
In a sense, the Papal states were, too, a monarchy no different than France or England, with the pope as the "king".
I've decided to show some fiefdoms even though all of them could not be shown, due to lack/divergence of information
Antipopes are not shown.
