A nationwide test activation of Canada's Alert Ready system was performed on the week of May 7, 2018.
The test activation was performed on May 7 for Ontario and Quebec residents. Quebec's test was performed at 9:55 AM EDT, while Ontario's test was performed at 1:55 PM EDT. The test was sent out to TV and radio stations, cable/satellite providers, and to most LTE-connected mobile devices.

CFCF-DT (CTV) Montreal
CFTO-DT (CTV) Toronto
CITY-DT (Citytv) Toronto
CIII-DT-41 (Global) Toronto
CBLT-DT (CBC) Toronto did not air the test activation.
