Dans la nuit du 21 au 22 Août 2018, le train de luxe "Venice Simplon Orient-Express" venant d'Italie, était prévu via la gare frontalière de Vintimille, la Côte d'Azur et la ligne impériale pour remonter sur le nord de la France. Dans cette première partie de nuit en gare de Tain, vous trouverez de nombreux frets nocturnes, l'AutoTrain qui sera supprimé début Décembre, et le dernier train de nuit du PLM.
