To create this look, you'll need a curling iron (1" marcel or spring), a comb, sectioning clips, thermal protective spray, hairspray, and pomade.
Step 1: Section the hair using the sectioning clips.
Step 2: Take a 1/2" sub-section of hair, starting at the nape of the neck.
Step 3: Apply a thermal protective spray to the sub-section.
Step 4: Curl the sub-section and repeat process until all hair is curled, spraying each row with a light-hold hairspray as you complete it.
Step 5: Use your knuckle to take a dime-sized amount of pomade from the jar, and emulsify it between both hands.
Step 6: Separate the curls using your fingertips.
