We’re often asked for simple meal ideas that can be whipped up in no time; seems like everyone needs a go-to, never-fail, always-quick-and-easy recipe that delivers delicious flavours with minimal effort. Hot dogs are a good choice, but it’s time to teach that old dog some new tricks. Wait until you try our BEST HOT DOG RECIPES!

Here are a few simple tips before I list our four extremely tasty creations. First, we’ve crafted this post so that the ideas will work to all tastes. Feel free to use traditional pork, all-beef, chicken or vegetarian wieners. You can also cook up your favourite sausages complete with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and caramelized onions too! Any and all will taste divine.

When it comes to cooking up the hot dogs, we did them on the grill, but they can be steamed, boiled or baked too. Air fryer hot dogs are also a thing, so prepare yours to your liking. 

The same thing goes for the buns. Cradle your gourmet creations in hot dogs buns studded with sesame seeds or poppy seeds. You can also substitute white hot dog buns with whole wheat, Kaiser subs or a gluten-free variation. Nice buns!
