Although it has only been three months since the last visit to Swords (   • Swords Buses | May 2024  ), the never-ending changes to the bus scene has had an impact on this north County Dublin town. Summerhill garage now has an allocation of around 50 Wright Electroliners (EW Class), which has seen all its PA Class buses transferred out to other garages. These new electric buses (which also operate in Limerick city:    • Limerick Buses | July 2024  ) have become a common sight on the 41 group of routes to Swords, including the 41B to rural Rolestown.

Apart from that, Wright Gemini buses in the form of the Dublin Bus SG Class, and the Go-Ahead Ireland 11500, 11600 and 11900 classes still dominate all the other bus services in and around Swords. It is also worth noting, on the day I visited, all the buses on PSO services were in the new TFI Green / Yellow livery. The entire Go-Ahead Ireland city fleet has been repainted, as has most of the Dublin Bus fleet. The EW Class is being delivered in this livery. It has been over twenty-five years when most buses in Swords were green.
