"Be considerate": Kalamazoo Public Works manager says as cars drive through yards

Описание: A street repair turned into a yard-destroying mess this weekend in Kalamazoo.

A "road closed" barricade led to cars driving around the signs and through lawns, and homeowners say the city deserves much of the blame.

Work began Friday to fix a water main on Grand Prairie Road, where crews blocked both lanes until they could finish their work this week.

Rachel Thompson lives in front of the repair site, telling News Channel 3 Saturday she lost count of how many cars went several feet into her grass, all to save a few minutes of detours.
