LONGUINHOS, MADGAON
Located in the heart of Margao City, Longuinhos is a restaurant we've been visiting for a decade and we can't get enough of the food here. The food is homely and absolutely delicious. It offers both A/C and Non-AC seating. Brilliant Cashew Fenny available. DO NOT MISS EATING HERE!! It's one of the best places to visit in Margao.

PEDROS, BENAULIM
Pedros is a quaint little restaurant that's smack on the beach at Benaulim. It plays host to some lively bands and DJs. Highly recommend the pasta here and also the prawn wafers, batter fried squid and certain Goan specialties. Great for an evening drink and dinner. The Fenny is excellent here too.

What was the cost of our meal at Longuinhos?
In this vlog, we had a very large meal at Longuinhos in Margao market area. One of the best restaurants in Margao, here we ordered the Prawn Stuffed Papad, Batter Fried Squid, Pork Hadmas (pronounced aadmas), Pork Sorpotel, dinner rolls and steamed rice. We washed this down with some Cashew Fenny + Limca, the Cashew Fenny the restaurant brews themselves. It's delicious!! Our total bill for this meal came to INR 1,392/- (Food: INR 1,008/- & Alcohol: INR 384/- inclusive of taxes) It really is one of the best restaurants in Goa. Don't confuse this place with Longuinhos Beach Resort Goa / Longinus Beach Resort Goa which is at Benaulim Beach.

How much was the cook book?
Ivo Almeida Coutinho's Goan Cuisine cookbook 'A day in the life of a Goan Kitchen' is available for sale at the restaurant and also online -   / a.day.in.a.goankitchen   We bought our copy at the restaurant Longuinhos aka Longinos Goa / Hotel Longines Goa / Longuinhos Goa Beach Hotel for INR 400/-. Thank you Ivo, the traditional goan recipes are absolutely delicious!!

What was the cost of our meal at Pedros?
In this vlog, we had a nice dinner and drinks session at Pedros Bar & Restaurant in Benaulim. We ordered the Prawn Wafers, Butter Garlic Prawns, Shark Ambotik, and Steamed Rice. To drink Jasmin had a Gin and Tonic and Ajay had a Cashew Fenny with Limca. The Cashew Fenny the restaurant brews themselves. It's great too. Our total bill for this meal came to INR 1,202/- (Food: INR 1,092/- & Alcohol: INR 110/- inclusive of taxes). This too is one of the best restaurants in South Goa / best places to eat in Goa.
