I love this film so much, and using Bobby Darin's title tune for it was just too fun to resist. This was Sandra Dee and Bobby Darin's second of three onscreen teamings, and this movie is a gem. In the vein of the Doris Day/Rock Hudson romantic comedies, this fun romp follows Chantel Stacy (Dee), the daughter of a Boston businessman and a French mother who was a former showgirl, as she tries to keep her new husband, photographer and former playboy Eugene Wright's (Darin) attention by sly tricks, with funny and romantic results. Set in New York (but typically shot on the Universal studio lot), their costars are Micheline Presle, John Lund, Stefanie Powers and Cesar Romero. Produced by Ross Hunter and directed by Henry Levin, this is a fabulous blast from the past and a must-see for fans of this real-life couple. Enjoy!
