Making GOLDEN keychains! Melting scrap copper and aluminum for sand casting.

Описание: Welcome back, Kraken crew! Today we're melting down some scrap copper pipes to make a beautiful aluminum bronmze alloy. These keychains are going out to some work associates of mine as a belated Christmas gift. CCL ladies, if you're watching, thank you so much! I hope you like them.

First I made a 3D model on tinkercad.com and printed it on my Snapmaker 3D printer. Next, I packed the plastic into Petrobond sand to make a mold, then poured molten metal. After some polishing, I think they turned out great!

*DISCLAIMER* Metal casing is dangerous. The temperatures are intense, the fumes are dangerous. Do not replicate at home without proper knowledge and PPE.
