Hussain Bakhsh Gulloo was a renowned classical singer known for his soulful renditions and mastery of traditional music. Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari (1904–1975), famously known as Z.A. Bukhari, was a legendary figure in South Asian broadcasting, literature, and music. He was the first Director-General of Radio Pakistan, a pioneer who professionalized broadcasting and trained generations of iconic artists.
Bukhari was also a poet, writer, and music scholar, authoring works like Sarguzasht and Raag Darya. He later became the first General Manager of PTV Karachi and was renowned for his soulful Marsiya recitations, preserving religious and cultural traditions.
