Описание: “Hej Julia” was my attempt at writing a Polish version of my English song “Rudy.” I started with the same chord progression, and the lyrics and melodies just came to me quickly. At first, I was singing “Hej Julia” with the Polish pronunciation, but then I started debating with myself whether I should pronounce Julia the English way instead.

That made me think of the song Jenny by Edyta Bartosiewicz, where she sings the name with the English pronunciation. That became a kind of image to this song.

“Hej Julia” is a bittersweet reflection on a past relationship, offering a heartfelt goodbye and a wish for someone to find the carefree, colorful life they were searching for.
