EPIC MIRKWOOD BATTLE - Third Age Total War

Описание: Battle of Mirkwood -
On March15,3019TA , the realm of Mirkwood was invaded by the forces of Dol-Guldur under the command of Sauron .Most of Dol-Guldur's strength is sent to combat the forces of lothlorien .The forces under the command of Khamul the Easterling[Nazghul] are sent to secure the flank of the lothlorien attack and are to be reinforced by elements of Easterlings .But the Easterlings are still fighting the Dwarves and the Men of Dale who have retreated to the Lonely Mountain and a siege has delayed them...
Thranduil knowing his realm well, has lend the enemy forces a merry dance through the trees, skirmishing them and damaging there army greatly by woodland arrows...but finally a opportunity arrives ,when they reach the a branch of the enchanted river , which provides 2 advantages..
Firstly a group of spiders has taken root in this area and a clever commander can perhaps lure or position himself to take advantage, as these spiders are predators and will attack all and any near their nest...
The Second advantage is of ground..there is a small crossing point over the river and some good high ground which can provide good advantage....Skirmish well with archers and perhaps the day will be won for the elf's but after there losses at the battle of five armies and recent departures for the Undying lands ....It is likely to be a grim day for the elves .
On the plus side ..some of the woodland folk have sent some forces to help and they will arrive on the right flank....

Why do I block out the Mini-Map with annotations for Sub battle replays?

I block it out because the Mini-Map gives away who sent in the battle replay. And in most cases whoever sends in the battle replay wins the battle. So I block it to keep it a surprise :D
