ABOUT LAYNAH
Laynah is a singer-songwriter from Vancouver, British Columbia. After completing her bachelors degree in Jazz Voice from McGill’s Schulich School of Music (‘16) in Montreal, she teamed up (and harmonized) with Jesse Daniel Smith and appears on several of his releases since 2017.
Laynah is inspired by a wide range of artists from Céline Dion and Sade to Laura Marling, Emmylou Harris and Sheryl Crow. She is constantly recording and releasing music with the help of Jesse Daniel Smith and their two cats.

ABOUT JESSE DANIEL SMITH
Canada’s indie folk darling Jesse Daniel Smith is a DIY singer-songwriter hailing from Montréal, Quebec. Jesse plays all the instruments, records, mixes and masters his music at his home studio (currently in Vancouver).
His roots are in bluegrass and folk, but lately his music has been inspired by the likes of Matt Corby, Blake Mills, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney. Jesse has a whole new set of singles coming out this fall - starting with his cover of Elvis Costello’s “Alison” out September 3rd.
