Spice Girl Victoria Adams and her fiance, football star David Beckham, are celebrating the birth of their first baby.

Posh Spice gave birth to a baby boy at a central London hospital on Thursday night - the second Spice baby in less than a fortnight.

Among the first to congratulate the proud parents was Sporty Spice Mel C, who turned up on Friday morning to welcome the latest addition to the Spice family.

Sporty Spice could barely get through the door of London's Portland Hospital to see the latest addition to the spice family - Brooklyn Joseph.

The couple had chosen the name Brooklyn because Victoria Adams found out she was pregnant while in New York.

The newborn is the second spice baby in a matter of days.

He joins teammate Phoenix Chi - daughter of Scary, who later brought her two-week-old daughter to see Brooklyn.
