Life in Japan is not always as easy as people think. With the yen getting weaker and prices rising because of inflation, many workers are learning how to stretch every yen.
In this video, I share a simple night routine after work here in Japan. After finishing my shift, I went to the supermarket to buy something affordable for dinner. As always, the first thing I looked for was the sale section so I could stay within my budget until the next payday.
Tonight’s simple meal includes fried fish, boiled okra, fresh tomatoes, and bagoong alamang. A simple and affordable dinner, but sometimes simple meals are the most satisfying after a long day of work.
I also share my quiet night routine after dinner washing dishes, taking a shower, doing skincare, and taking care of my hardworking hands that have developed calluses from work.
This is a real and honest look at daily life as a foreign worker living in Japan. Life abroad may not always be glamorous, but every small step is part of a bigger dream.
