Morning is my favourite time of the day:
• The whole day stretches out, with opportunities and possibilities.
• His mercies are new every morning.
• It’s an opportunity to reset.
We got a smart exercise bike in the holidays. It is in need of calibration! The readings and measures it gives me are not accurate indications of reality.
And so it is with us. Morning reset time was wonderful during the holiday.
We have a chance right now – the beginning of the year on a much grander scale. It’s an opportunity to recalibrate our lives. To hit the reset button, to make sure we are measuring things accurately and with the correct measures. So that we have an accurate indication of reality.
