Meru governor Peter Munya this afternoon stormed out of a function presided over by the deputy president William Ruto protesting what he termed as an attempt by the deputy president to force the jubilee party on the Meru region. Before walking out amidst jeers from the crowd, Munya told Ruto that he will not defend his seat on the yet to be formed jubilee party and that the party will not make any headway in Meru.
