Footage of my VF SV6 Ute at the Downshift Circuit and Coffee on March 5th 2017 out at QLD Raceway. Had good fun, and finally got to race my mate (in his 370Z at the start). After racing him I had a passenger the rest of the morning, and as always you can take some results with a grain of salt, sometimes it only takes half a second to put your foot down before the other driver to make the difference, or some small amount of wheelspin as the track was damp early on. Unfortunately with only one camera you only get one angle and miss a few of the races. I found I lost out a fair bit on 3rd gear, the jump from 2nd to 3rd is way too long on the V6 gearboxes, 3rd gear is just too long.
For anyone wondering, my Ute just has Mace cams, an intake and exhaust, made 296rwhp on the shop dyno. Have yet to run it at the drags but that day is coming.
