Newly obtained bodycam video and court papers are revealing more about an influencer arrested after posting videos of himself in brazen car stunts and racing on Pinal County side streets and highways late last year.
In court documents, deputies said that Alexis Palacios, 24, drove recklessly and did “pulls” (also known as sudden accelerations) several times to show off to his passengers before sharing the stunts on social media, including YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
When the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office caught up to Palacios on Nov. 4, 2025, he “admitted to doing pulls,” but claimed he couldn’t remember speeding to 135 mph along Ironwood Drive, the papers said.
Pinal County sheriff’s officials said in the arresting paperwork that the stunts took place on Ironwood Drive and State Route 24, as well as a couple in the area of Meridian and Ray roads, between Oct. 14 and Oct. 23.
