আদিয়ালা কারাগারে বন্দি ইমরান খানের নিরাপত্তা ও বেঁচে থাকার বিষয়ে পিটিআই নেতাকর্মীদের মধ্যে গত কয়েকদিন ধরে সন্দেহ ও উত্তেজনা তীব্র হয়ে ওঠে। বিভিন্ন জায়গায় দলীয় কর্মীরা তার সাক্ষাৎ নিশ্চিত করার দাবিতে বিক্ষোভও করে। পরিস্থিতি এমন পর্যায়ে পৌঁছায় যে তার বোনকে বিশেষ অনুমতিতে কারাগারে প্রবেশ করে দেখা করার সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়। ঠিক এমন সময়েই ইমরান খানের সঙ্গে দেখা করা নিয়ে নিষেধাজ্ঞা আরোপ করে পাকিস্তান সরকার।
