Greetings astrophiles!
This update on the Whispering Skies Observatory Project focuses on the north wall's transformation, a key part of my ongoing roll-off-roof observatory project.
This video showcases the transformation of the observatory's north wall, featuring base cabinets, wall cabinets, a countertop, and under-cabinet lighting. This provides ample storage, a computer workspace, and a tool workspace for working on telescope OTAs.
I encountered design dead ends while pursuing this project until I collaborated with ChatGPT to develop the final approach!
The first half of the video provides background on how we arrived at the final design. The last half shows the acutal built itself.
