Syntell and Rekkai are back in Philly — and Season 6 Episode 9 is the next banned episode of the series, and it is not playing. Dee is subbing for Dr. Myers (whose hip she is responsible for). Charlie finds purpose as the substitute janitor and immediately adopts a Jugalo kid named Richie as his protege. Frank delivers an escalating lecture on blackface that gets exponentially worse with every sentence. And then Mac and Dennis decide the best thing to do with a classroom full of high school students is screen their home movie — Lethal Weapon 5 — at Paddy's bar.

Lethal Weapon 5 has blackface in it. A lot of it. They switch roles midway through. Paul Walter Hauser is in it as Raj.

The review does the work: Syntell and Rekkai weigh in on whether Lethal Weapon 5 or the Sweet Dee newscast episode earns the higher ranking on "This Should Never See the Light of Day," the Tropic Thunder comparison (Rekkai says RDJ is still goated for that), the "meet the funny" threshold for offensive comedy, Dennis being the most evil person in the show and somehow being the voice of reason on blackface, why networks ban episodes for advertisers not principles, and whether the juice is worth the squeeze. Both hosts conclude: it is.
