Expected to be priced under ₹60 lakh, the model is positioned to drive strong volumes, with deliveries set to begin from April. Mercedes-Benz is also enabling seamless ownership by integrating access to over 9,000 charging stations. Iyer noted that nearly 25% of current sales already come from top-end vehicles. On regulations, he said the company is fully aligned with SIAM on CAFE 3 norms, acknowledging that prices may rise, but emphasising that public health remains paramount amid ongoing discussions with policymakers.
