ECI News: 'Don't Wanna Spoil The Surprise!' Rahul Gandhi's Cryptic Warning For CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Описание: Rahul Gandhi On Gyanesh Kumar: Don't Wanna Spoil The Surprise!' Rahul Gandhi's Cryptic Warning For CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Rahul Gandhi has kept the INDIA bloc’s next move under wraps, saying he does not want to “spoil the surprise” amid the row over Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Speaking after hosting opposition leaders at his Delhi residence, the Congress leader said the protests would continue until their goal was achieved, stressing the alliance’s unity and determination.

The remarks came after Rahul Gandhi and ten other opposition leaders approached the Supreme Court over the Election Commission controversy. Gandhi expressed respect for the Supreme Court and CJI Surya Kant while asserting that political and public resistance would continue regardless of institutional developments. The CEC-SIR dispute centres on alleged electoral roll irregularities and questions over decision-making within the Election Commission, which maintains that its decisions were taken unanimously.
