Icons or Idols first originate from the concretization of human worship and awe of gods. God represents the energy that humans have not yet understood, the nature of everything in the world, and the meaning of life. Throughout the ages, human beings have tried their creativity and financial resources to reproduce the greatness of God and the magnificent thoughts behind it. As long as mankind still needs to face the unknown, the idea of a God will continue to update and exist forever. In modern days, the original role of God that holds worships and gratitude from humans has become secular. Instead of God, Icons and Idols in life, represented through a form of consumerism, have established their dominance in people's lives. Those idols and icons are no longer just unattainable statues or names: they even surpass the categories of tangible people or objects, they can also be abstract concepts, achievements, or pursuits. Modern Idols and Icons are integrated into our lives, thoughts, and culture. Everyone has their own idols that come from our experiences but are valued above our experience. The world we live in has become a huge idol factory. We create idols by giving some kind of ultimate value to an idea or object. Ironically, we are influenced and restrained by these idols.
