Long anticipated Bradford-on-Avon to Studland via Compton Abbas & Tyneham & Ferry

This run happened a couple of months ago - Chris Jones took us on a run from Bradford - about a mile out of the town the rain started and it rained on and off all the way through Shaftesbury (Cheese straws fro Reeves Bakery yummee 😋) stopping by the time we got to Compton Abbas airfield for a coffee. Sadly Chris was delayed and unable to continue for a while - I will let him explain why in a comment if he wants to. The three of us - me, Alex and Colin continued onward, accidentally driving past the cottage of T H Lawrence (of Arabia fame) and found ourselves at Tyneham deserted village on the Lulworth Army ranges - open to the public on rare occasions. Finally we ended up at Studland beach for a cuppa - nothing untoward going on here (Studland's reputation goes before it) and then crossed the Sandbanks ferry for our return home. 205 miles in the day for me and a painful backside and shoulder (torn rotator cuff). Oh and Chris was back with us at Studland after his "delay" !
