Nikhil Singh, a PhD candidate in the Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab, presents a conversation around Steina: Playback.
Nikhil Singh discusses the many relationships that exist in nature and can be made to exist in art between sound and image through the lens of Steina’s video works presented in the space. By extension, he explores how machines interpret and transform these sensory signals and what this might mean for perception, expression, and technology.
