Fiamma Nirenstein speaks about her relationship with Israel, and the current attitudes in Europe towards Israel. Nirenstein is a strong supporter of Israel and argues that Europeans are dealing with the question of Israel irrationally. Specifically the lack of knowledge of the political, historical and social context of the region, and knowledge of the current on the ground situation. She argues that the newest struggle for Israel is the decay of the global public discourse of Israel and a decrease in the intellectual understanding of the conflict and of Israel.
