New year’s resolutions for Madorasindahouse?
Release amazing new music, support upcoming talent, keep the MIDH spirit alive.
To make this happen, we start our line of EP’s with the South African / New Yorker Dj Beekay, who sent us a 5-track EP a couple of months ago and blew us away. The content of the “Tears of Africa” EP has already been heard through Black Coffee’s Essential Mix, along with presence in various streams and live shows around the world.
“Far Away”, the opening tune, features the haunting vocals of Lyrik Shoxen, taking you on a mental trip to a beach in the ocean, dreaming of your loved one.
Next up, two tracks featuring Candy Man; Tears of Africa and Qamata (featuring Tabia), express the sound of afro house in 2021, melodic, percussive and emotive.
“Thandolwethu”, featuring Nontuthu, could easily be a poem dedicated to your lover, an erotic confession in Zulu.
Rounding things up, “N4 to Rusty”, is a groovy and melodic tune, made for the special club moments when you need the crowd to take a breath and just dance.
